The first depicting a half-blind thief sitting almost naked behind a folding screen, two stolen purses in his hand, signed in an oval reserve Toshinaga; the second depicting a treasure-collector standing, smiling and carrying a rake on his shoulder with the inscription takara (treasure), signed Kosho; the third depicting Fujiwara Sadatoshi, a member of the famous Fujiwara family, in fine dress, seated posture, unwrapping the biwa (lute) sent to him by the Chinese professor Renjobo, signed on a rectangular red lacquer plaque Yoshio
