Edo period, 19th Century, signed Kajikawa-zo with a red seal
Decorated in gold and iroe hiramaki-e, nashiji and kimpun and inlaid with aogai, each side with a recessed panel, one depicting the poet Hitomaro, the other with sailing boats, metal ojime inlaid in gold and shaped as a hut, wood manju netsuke with circular red lacquer plaque incised with waves
