With a triangular pediment, the doors of the upper section enclosing a three quarter ledge and hidden stepped drawer flanked by two further small drawers with a pencil inscription to the underside, the fall enclosing a well fitted interior with nine drawers and pigeon holes around a trompe l'oeil niche and leather lined sliding writing surface with three long drawers below with later gilt metal mounts
