the first of a Shinto priest and his servant messenger, the monkey, kneeling at his side in elegant robes, signed Chikayuki; a fisherman standing carrying a rod, on his head a dragonfly of aogai has landed; and a group of six of the seven Gods of Felicity: Benten, Bishamonten, Daikoku, Ebisu, Fukurokuju and Jurojin, four of them playing instruments, all with stained ivory, aogai and wood inlay -- the first 3 11/16in. (9.4cm.) high. (8)
