A four-case lacquer inro, 19th Century
decorated in gold hiramakie, kirigane and aogai on a kinji ground with bamboo, nashiji interiors; the bronze ojime worked in hirazogan and applied with silver and gold birds in flight and pine cones; the ivory netsuke with two quail nesting on millet above a tatami mat -- the inro 4¼in. (10.5cm.) long. (3)
