A celadon and brown jade model of a recumbent mythical beast, 16th/17th Century
its head with bulging eyes and with solemn expression, turned and resting across its back -- 4½in. (12.1cm.) long; a small white jade shallow bowl with shallow rounded sides, 19th Century -- 3 1/8in. (7.9cm.) diam.; and five further jade carvings including a celadon peach form coupe, a small greyish-celadon cup, a celadon mughal-style cup, a celadon dish and a celadon leaf carving -- 3 3/8in. (5.6cm.) diam. max., 18th and 19th Century, six wooden stands. (7)
