A square box with flush-fitting cover decorated in gold, black and red hiramaki-e, takamaki-e and nashiji on a black ground with a figure poling a boat among rocks, the interior in gold togidashi-e with stylised mon on a sparse nashiji ground, lead rims and another decorated in gold and black hiramaki-e on a nashiji ground with a mon, chrysanthemums and scrolling foliage, nashiji interior, lead rims
