Koshirae of black lacquer with later applied pigment, all metal fittings are matching, the tsuba round shakudo ishime-ji with cranes, bamboo grasses, and waves in high relief inlay with gold details, the fuchi-kashira with the same design, menuki on the katana gilt peonies, and on the wakizashi gilt cockerels, both kozuka and the kogai have shishi and peonies in high relief gold inlay on a shakudo nanako ground, the kogai signed Kikuoka Mitsutoshi (2)
