A honzukuri katana length 73.2cm, on the omote goma-bashi and a bohi, on the ura a dragon ascending above waves in a panel and a bohi in the upper part, the hamon suguha with variations and kuzure, black lacquer saya with Noh masks in gold and coloured makie, the fuchi-kashira of shakudo with Chinese immortals in high relief with gold, copper, and silver details, menuki of Chinese immortals in shakudo and gold, round iron tsuba pierced and carved with figures beneath pines
