Kitae [forging pattern]: well-ordered itame with ji-nie, masame on the shinogi-ji
Hamon [tempering pattern]: gunome midare of ko-nie with sunagashi, ashi, and some yo
Boshi [tip]: midare with kuzure return
Nakago [tang]: o-suriage, three mekugi-ana of which one is at the tip of the tang, katte-sagari file marks, kiri tip
