Sugata [configuration]: honzukuri narrowing gently, iori-mune, deep curve, chu-kissaki
Kitae [forging pattern]: ko-itame with ji-nie
Hamon [tempering pattern]: chu-suguha of nie
Boshi [tip]: komaru
Nakago [tang]: ubu, kiri file marks, two mekugi-ana, kurijiri tip
Habaki [collar]: single gilt copper
Nagasa [length of blade]: 70cm
Koshirae [mounting]: handachi koshirae, the saya of reddish brown lacquer with a raised net design, matching shibuichi fittings carved with waves, fuchi signed Akishige (probably Hisaga Akishige, pupil of Shunmei)
