                                For a kohl tube with six conjoined tubes also cut from a single block of stone, inscribed for Hatshepsut, see fig. 136 in Lilyquist, Egyptian Stone Vessels, Khian through Tuthmosis IV.  It is possible that the Jéquier vessel may have served as a handle for a fan or flabellum.
