Standing erect on an integral plinth, the wings closed with their pointed tips crossing above the fanned tail, the convex oval eyes framed by characteristic eye-markings in shallow relief, the small beak with indented nostrils and a downturned tip, the top of the head with a mortise for insertion of a now-missing crown
