One side with a draped female moving left and looking back, a wreath in her right hand, an egg-filled patera in her left, wearing a rayed diadem; the other side with a nude youth moving left with a situla in his right hand, his left arm enveloped within his mantle, holding a staff, a fillet in his hair; wave below the scenes, dots above, large palmettes framed by tendrils below the wide handles; the lid with a large overhanging hollow central knob, each side with a profile female head, one facing left, one facing right, palmettes and tendrils in between, dots below, details in added white and yellow
