The base and two halves of the body each formed from a separate hammered sheet, joined by rivets and ornamented with bosses along the seams and along the perpendicular line, the conical vessel tapering to the flat base, the broad sloping shoulders offset, with a short cylindrical neck, the rim rounded, the handle-plates riveted to the neck across the seams, arching handles threaded through the rings, voluted pendants suspended from each end
