Of bright steel, comprising close helmet of armet construction with two-piece skull and hinged chinpiece each flanged for turning on the gorget, pivoted 'dog-faced' visor drawn-out to a pronounced occular flange and snout, and fitted with plume-holder at the rear, gorget of four lames front and rear, breast-plate of globose form with low medial ridge, arm gussets moving on sliding rivets, skirt of four lames, lance-rest, a pair of four-lame tassets, matching back-plate of three-part construction fitted with skirt of four lames, a pair of arm defences including large spaulders correctly asymmetrical and fitted with asymmetrical haute-pieces, a pair of mitten-gauntlets, a pair of full leg defences including 'bear-paw' sabatons, and with matching recessed borders and turned roped edges throughout (sold without a stand).
