Foppens], 1677. 12°. 3 engraved plates, one folding (fore-margin of 2 plates just shaved, top margins cut quite close, on occasion nearly touching pagination, a little discolouration). Mid 18th-century French red morocco, flat spine gilt with black lettering piece, triple gilt fillet round sides, gilt turn-ins, gilt edges (the gilding on the spine rather faded). Provenance: unidentified armorial bookplate -- Augustine Birrell (1850-1933), politican and author (bookplate).
