Autograph letter signed ('J.R.') to his engraver, 'Hugh', n.p., n.d., 'I am on the whole pleased with your engraving but the dots are much too fine, and the loss of variety in breadth of opening of line is fatal to the good taste of the plate', referring to additional material to be sent for engraving, 'The Alps are very good', though the recipient has erred in placing the Vosges too high, one page, 8vo (spotting).
