EINSTEIN, Albert (1879-1955). Two autograph postcards signed ('Albert') to his first wife, Mileva, Berlin, 18 and 23 May 1923, DISCUSSING ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE PAYMENT TO HER OF HIS NOBEL PRIZE MONEY, in accordance with their divorce settlement, in the first expressing his agreement with her plans to use the money to buy a house, urging her to get good advice and making arrangements for transfer of the funds, noting on the verso that he will write to the children as soon as he has a time and making some financial calculations, in the second notifying her of the transfer of 45,000 francs from Stockholm and of the investment of the remainder of the money in Argentinian, Swedish and Danish dollar bonds in New York, together 1½ pages, 8vo (even browning).
