Collation: aa-kk6 ll8 (De arithmetica, De musica, ps-Boethius, De geometria, ll8r colophon dated 18 August 1492, register, ll8v printer's device (Husung 162)); 68 leaves. 70 lines and headline, double column. Type: 16:66G, 17:80Gb, 22:130G, 88 Greek. Numerous diagrams and tables, 2- to 5-line initial spaces with printed guide-letters, woodcut printer's device at end. (Light stain at end, a little marginal worming at gutter.) Early 20th-century half vellum, spine label. Provenance: contemporary annotations and diagrams to De musica.
Second edition of De Arithmetica and FIRST EDITION OF DE MUSICA, one of the earliest printed texts on harmony and proportion. These texts form part of the first edition of the Opera, but have their own collective title-page and are sometimes found separately.
