FIRST EDITION IN BOOK FORM, PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION: "To Pinnie From H.G." on half-title. A satire on the limitations of local and national boundaries based on the story of two scientists who discover a substance ('Herakleophorbia') which stimulates growth by six or seven times the norm.
