oval box, the cover with translucent red enamel on engine-turned spiral design and centred with a rectangular enamel plaque of Cupid disarmed by an attendant Grace at the Altar of Venus within white opaque frame with gold paillon leaves, the base with engraved spiral pattern, the sides with diagonal wavy lines, two with translucent red enamel, divided by urns, the borders of opaque lavender-blue enamel with gold paillon within opaque white margins
