Provenance
By family descent from the sitter to Hugo Müller (1841-1884) and his wife, née Kamma Funder (1841-1919), granddaughter of the sitter.
Bought by Torben Holck Colding from Miss Gyrithe Müller (b. 1870), Copenhagen, in 1947 (100 Danish Crowns).
