"The '92 Charmes has always been a rather atypical wine for this vintage because in contrast to the open, accessible, very forward style of most '92s, this has always been backward and rather unforthcoming if packed with potential. The aromas and flavors are just now beginning to open, revealing simply gorgeous if subtle hazelnut and pain grilli aromas and rich, full-bodied, very precise and pure flavors of exceptional acid/fruit balance and lovely finishing elegance.
