The oblong box with slightly incurving sides, the cover, sides and base each engraved with trailing foliage, the cover further engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked inside base and inside cover
3¼ in. (8.4 cm.) wide
5.7 oz. (176 gr.)
The arms are those of Gilman as borne by the Gilman family of Clonteadmore, co. Cork, probably for Herbert Gillman of Clonteadmore (1791-1878).
