MARK OF WILLIAM BROWN AND WILLIAM SOMERSALL, LONDON, 1841
Each piece cylindrical and with reeded base, the lower section with leaf-capped spout and an ebonised wood handle, the top section with a silver handle and a detachable cover with a baluster finial, fitted with a strainer, the lower section engraved with an inscription, marked near handles, inside cover, on cover bezel and on strainer

The inscription reads 'Dottie from Grandmama'
