MARK OF GUSTAVE ODIOT AND MAISON ODIOT, PARIS, LATE 19TH CENTURY, EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Each with a ribbon-tied foliage rim, comprising: four meat-dishes, two engraved with differing initials; thirteen second course dishes, two engraved with initials and four engraved with a coat-of-arms below a coronet and an entrée dish and cover, each dish marked underneath and on rim, the vegetable dish marked underneath, on handles, and on rim and handle of cover, each piece also stamped 'ODIOT A PARIS', some pieces further stamped with an inventory number
The meat-dishes 19½ in. (49 cm.) long, the second course-dishes 14 in. (35.5 cm) diam. (2); 12½ in. (31.7 cm.) diam. (6) and 11½ in. (29 cm.) diam. (5)
