Tapering fluted cylindrical and on openwork branch, foliage scroll and fruiting swag base, with two branch handles, engraved with strapwork, with a bead and scroll border, with a detachable liner and collar, engraved with a coat-of-arms below a coronet, marked near handles, on collar and on liner, the base further stamped 'R&S GARRARD PANTON ST. LONDON'
10½ in. (26.6 cm.) high
143 oz. (4,431 gr.)
The arms are those of Rothschild for either Lionel Nathan de Rothschild (1808-1879) or his brother Anthony de Rothschild (1810-1876). The latter was created a baronet in 1847.
