Each shaped circular and with a gadrooned rim, later engraved with a coat-of-arms below a crown of the Holy Roman Empire and a duke's coronet, each marked on the back, the backs further engraved with a number and a scratchweight 'No 84 18"4'; 'No 93 17"13'; 'No 95 18"3'; 'No 102 18"5'; 'No 104 17"14'; 'No 119 17"17'; 'No 128 17"3'; 'No 139 18"3'; 'No 153 17"17'; 'No 156 17"18'; 'No 164 18"5' and another with indistinct number and a scratchweight '17"11'

The arms are those of Churchill quartering Spencer imapling Stewart, for George, 5th Duke of Marlborough (1766-1817) and his wife Susan (d.1841), daughter of John, 7th Earl of Galloway (1736-1806), whom he married in 1791. (12)
