The saint represented full-length, leaning on his right leg, facing the viewer, raising his right hand in benediction and holding the Gospels in his left, his light green omophorion and chiton with darker clavi, complemented by the red phellonion, the Ecclesiastical accessories and Book covered with sumptuous, gem-like decorations, flanked by the half figures of Christ and his Mother, the former offering him the Gospels, the latter the Bishop's omophorion, the facial features rendered with sombre colours, the saturated deep red of the vestments contrasting with the pastel tones, standing out against the gold background, signed at the lower right: BY THE HAND OF VICTOR
