Old and New Testament holy figures, grouped against arched settings, some with hands extended in prayer, one displaying a scroll, another bearing a Gospel Book; the top register focusing on the image of Christ, wearing luminous vestments, displaying the open Gospels, in a circular, starry and rayed Glory, the Four Beasts of the Apocalypse appearing behind, the Mother of God and John the Baptist flanking the Pantokrator, thus forming a Deisis, surrounded by a large crowd of angles, four of them in the foreground presenting orbs, the white-rimmed haloes and finials of the heraldic staffs forming a repetitive ethereal pattern that crowns the scene
