The swaddled figure of Lazarus emerging from the rock-cut tomb, a servant wrapping the cloth and another moving away the tomb stone; in the foreground his sisters Martha, kneeling in prayer and Maria, prostrated stretching her veiled hands to hold Christ's foot, himself extending his right hand in blessing, the event attended by a crowd of people, a tall structure in the background, a holy figure displaying an inscribed scroll at the upper left corner, finely painted with saturated colours, the heavens rendered in gold
