Riding a dark, rearing horse, trampling the serpent and plunging his spear through its mouth, attired in full armour, the hand of God placing a crown on his head from the open heaves above, the rescued boy clutching onto his saddle and carrying a wine goblet, the princess Elisaba with outstretched hand, observing the gallant deed
