The central image sunk into the carved panel, showing the Nativity and the Baptism on the first register, and the Entry into Jerusalem and the Anastasis below; the preserved wing, illustrating Christ's Ascension on the top and the Holy Pentecost on the lower section, the reverse representing the Birth of the Mother of God in the lower register with the Annunciation above, the compositions rendered graphically with vivid colours on gold ground, the strigilliated raised border with red edges
