Of octagonal form, the Mother of God of the Sign painted in enamel on copper, surrounded by four rows of cabochons and with eight larger circular settings, hanging from a jewelled crown, the cover of the reliquary case at the back inscribed, To the Most Reverend Silvester from instructors in command and officers of the Kiev Spiritual Academy in token of deep and sincere devotion. 25 of March, 1898
