The scattered flower decoration on the stand compares closely to the underside of a gilt decorated tray of overlapping square form with a Qianlong mark, illustrated in Lacquer Wares of the Qing Dynasty, The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum, Hong Kong, 2006, no. 111.
