A STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE OBELISK
Circa 1790
Of typical form, the tapering column flecked in colours to imitate granite, on pale blue square plinth applied to either side in white with gilt paterae, between moulded and gilt acanthus-leaf rims, collection label to underside, 'M Salt. Buxton.'
