Three women's scarves for the French Line (CGT)
Hermes, Paris and others; circa 1962 and earlier
the first decorated with ship motifs and illustrating the four ships of the French Line named France: 1864, 1874, 1912 and 1962 by Hermes, Paris (33¼ x 34¼ in. sight); the second for the Paquebot "Liberte" decorated with nautical and French line motifs (32¾ x 31½ in.) sight; the third for the Paquebot "Flandre" and decorated with an image of the ship and various French motifs by Alain Rouse (21 x 20¾ in.).
