Jim Morrison
A collection of Jim Morrison's self-published poetry including an 88-page bound book of poetry with embossed gilt lettering on the cover reading The New Creatures/James Douglas Morrison. Inscribed and signed by Morrison in blue ink To Norman, w/Thanks, J.Morrison. Accompanied by a navy blue portfolio with embossed gilt lettering on the cover reading The Lords/Notes on Vision/James Douglas Morrison filled with 82 loose-leaf pages of poetry. Both pieces were published in the Spring of 1969 in an edition of only 100 copies of each. In addition, the lot includes a copy of the 1970 edition of The Lords and The New Creatures published by Simon and Shuster. (3)
