A Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster guitar, Serial No. DE2 - 140 of 175, black finish featuring an airbrush image of Marilyn Monroe as she appeared in the Tom Kelly 1949 photo shoot and later in the first edition of Playboy, double cutaway body, 21 fret fingerboard with Playboy logo inlays, Fender logo with additional Playboy logos at head, three standard Fender pickups, three rotary controls, one selector switch, all brass hardware including a brass plate on back of body reading "Playboy 40th Anniversary," together with red leather custom Playboy guitar strap, red soft shell Fender case and custom hardshell case. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Fender guitars.
