Six very slightly corroded capsules. Excellent labels. Levels 3cms below base of corks or better. Lot 52 bottle nos. 025798-025809. Three capsules slightly corroded and one slightly damaged. Excellent labels. Levels: ten 3cms or better, one 3.5 and one 4.5cms below base of corks
In original straws. In original wooden cases with original bands until these were removed prior to inspection by Christies staff
Tasting Note: Nine notes. At the opening tasting in 1967, instantly aromatic and exciting. By the mid-1970s, colourful, almost over-opulent, on the nose; exuberant, in full flower, in the 1980 and 1990 decades. Last tasted Feb 1997. M.B.
