A DUTCH SILVER MOUNTED LEATHER COVERED OVAL BRASS BOX
FIRST HALF 18TH CENTURY
The cover applied with a cypher within foliage sprays and with marquess' coronet above, with brass lining and hinge
5.2 cm. high x 15 cm. wide x 10.5 cm. deep
And a silver-mounted leather bound Dutch Almanach for 1765, the front and back applied with a cartouche depicting a sail-boat, the hinges decorated with the VOC monogram and E for Enkhuizen - 9 cm. high; And a Dutch circular tortoiseshell box, the lid decorated with a portrait of William III - 2.3 cm. high x 7 cm. diam.; and a Dutch white metal mounted shagreen covered brass tobacco box, 19th century - 14 cm. long (4)
