The case with a band inlaid a-symmetrical trunk door (locked), the brass dial with shell spandrels to brass chapter ring, matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture below, the arch with signature roundel signed Daniel Rehnisch/Berlin flanked by dolphin spandrels, the eight day movement with four pillars, rack strike on one bell; two later lead weights
