AN ENGLISH DELFT POLYCHROME ROYAL PORTRAIT OCTAGONAL PLATE
CIRCA 1690, LONDON OR BRISTOL
Painted in blue, manganese and ochre with a double half-length portrait of William and Mary flanked by the initials WMR within a double blue line circular cartouche, the border with pendant ochre tassels and manganese-edged half-flowerheads, slight crack to rim at 12 o'clock, some minor flaking to edges
