Modelled as a tabby cat seated on his haunches, with striped coat with ochre and manganese splashes, his ears enriched in blue and his long striped tail curled between his front legs, the initials L/W.I/1659 within a lobed cartouche on his chest, a hemispherical lip for pouring behind his ears, left ear repaired, chipping to ears, lip at back, eyes, tail and very slight flaking to paws
