These signatures were acquired on Saturday, 7 December, 1963 in Liverpool where the Beatles recorded a special edition of Juke Box Jury presented by David Jacobs. Ten years ago, the original owner of this album passed it on to an order of British nuns. This gift was prompted by gratitude as the order had prayed for a young friend of his who was on death row in Texas. After the young man's execution, the nuns assisted with the funeral expenses. In recognition of their efforts, this album was donated to the order, to help them raise money and continue their good works.
