The Sportsman's Dictionary; or, the Gentleman's Companion for Town and Country. London: for G.G.J. and J. Robinson, 1792. 4°, engraved frontispiece by Cook and 15 plates (a little light browning), contemporary calf (rebacked with old lettering piece preserved). Fourth edition, first appearing in 1735. cf. Schwerdt II, pp. 220-21.

London: Sherwood, Gilbert & Piper, 1833. 2 volumes, 8°, 24 engraved plates, including a few aquatints, and 2 wood-engraved plates (some plates rather browned, two small wormholes in fore-corners at beginning of vol. II), original cloth with printed label on spine, uncut (vol. I detached from block). Provenance: W.S. Dixon (blue stamp at head of titles). Not in Schwerdt.
