With 3-colour gold cut-out mounts depicting buildings & trees and a label chased SOUVENIR on either side, the sides engraved with rococo scrollwork, the interior to hold an aide-memoire and pencil, both now lacking, with push-button opening which releases the panels at front and back, the front lifting to reveal a portrait miniature of a lady, circa 1770, the back lifting to reveal a later painted miniature of a copulating couple in 18th century dress
