A PAIR OF ITALIAN GILTWOOD SIDE TABLES
MID-18TH CENTURY, PROBABLY MARCHE
Each with a rectangular white marble top above a pierced frieze carved with C scrolls and centred by a Bacchic mask, the pierced sides carved conformingly, on caryatid supports joined by a shaped stretcher, on scrolled feet, regilt, the marble tops later, minor differences to carving, restoration to one stretcher
