THIRD QUARTER 18TH CENTURY
The moulded rectangular top with later gilt-tooled green leather writing-surface, above three frieze drawers, the reverse with a simulated central drawer flanked by two smaller drawers, each pedestal with panelled doors, one enclosing three graduated drawers, the other enclosing three shelves with folio dividers, with same arrangement to the reverse, with one door enclosing a divided folio compartment flanked by one shelf and folio dividers, on moulded plinth base, later metalwork, the drawers mahogany lined, central frieze drawer previously with a slide, previously with centrally located castors, two short plinths replaced, restorations to the plinth, one door later
